Attendance Boundary for Beaverdam Elementary School
2008-2009
The school
attendance boundary for Beaverdam Elementary
School shall include all the streets and
subdivisions within the following area:
Beginning at the Hanover/Louisa
County border and Old Ridge Road
the boundary line shall follow the Hanover/Louisa County border north to the
Hanover/Spotsylvania County border and the North Anna River. The boundary line shall turn east
and follow the North Anna River to Route 30, King’s Dominion Boulevard, turn
west following Route 30 to Route 1, Washington Highway, turn south following
Route 1, Washington Highway, to Mount Hope Church Road. Follow Mount Hope Church Road west/northwest
to Doswell
Road (both sides of Mount Hope Church Road shall
attend Beaverdam
Elementary School). The
boundary line shall turn west following Doswell Road
to the Little River (both sides of Doswell Road shall
attend Beaverdam Elementary School), and turn south
following the Little River to a point aligned with Eastwood Lane, then continue
south linking with Eastwood Lane to Old Ridge Road. The boundary shall turn
west/northwest following Old Ridge Road to Blunts Bridge Road, turn south
following Blunts Bridge Road to the New Found River (both sides of Blunts
Bridge Road shall attend Henry Clay/Gandy Elementary Schools), turn west
following the New Found River to Rocketts Mill Road.
The boundary shall turn south following Rocketts Mill
Road to Scotchtown Road and turn west/southwest following Scotchtown Road to
Coatesville Road (both sides of Scotchtown Road shall attend Beaverdam Elementary School). Turn west/northwest following
Coatesville Road
to the New Found
River (both sides of Coatesville Road
shall attend Beaverdam
Elementary School), and turn west
following the New
Found River
to Beaverdam
Road. The boundary line shall turn north following
Beaverdam Road to Old Ridge Road (both sides of Beaverdam Road shall attend South Anna Elementary School),
turn west and follow Old Ridge Road (both sides of Old Ridge Road in Hanover
County shall attend Beaverdam Elementary School) to
the Hanover/Louisa County border.
*Note: In some instances, residents living along district
boundary lines may be required to attend a particular school due to the
limitations of the transportation system.
